So, after an Encounter Weekend, what's next?
At Living Word, our goal is that every believer become a leader. In order to be an effective leader, you must be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. After attending an Encounter Weekend, you will have an opportunity to attend Post-Encounter.
The Ladder of Success
POST.Encounter
The purpose of POST.Encounter is to make solid the decisions that you made during your Encounter Weekend. POST.Encounter is a 10-session class held from 5pm - 7pm on Sunday evenings. New classes begin usually within 2 weeks after Encounter Weekend. The cost is $20 for the adult class & $15 for Kids & Jr High to cover your workbook and class materials.
Once you've graduated POST.Encounter, the next step in becoming a solid, fruitful leader is to attend School of Leaders.
School of Leaders
After attending POST.Encounter, the next opportunity we have for you is to attend School of Leaders. Our goal is to make every believer a leader. There is a difference in just being a believer and being a true disciple. True disciples of Christ lead others not only with their words, but also with their lives. School of Leaders is broken into 3 classes: School of Leaders 1, 2, and 3. Each level consists of 10 sessions and has a cost of $20-$30 for the adult class and $15 for the Jr High & Kids class to cover your workbooks & class materials. After graduating each level, you will be given the opportunity to continue to the next class. The focus of each level is unique and will solidify you in the following areas:
We offer School of Leaders for our Kids, our Jr High, and our Adults once after a successful graduation from POST.Encounter.
For the Adults, here is what the curriculum entails:
SOL1: "Connecting Beliefs With Behavior" and "Developing a "Priesthood Family". By graduation, you will also not only know what you believe and why, but how to articulate your beliefs to others.
SOL2: "Intercession and Winning the Lost" and "Vision and Equipping for Effective Life Cells"
SOL3: "Consolidation" and "Excellence in Leadership"
